Mandy & Alex contacted me after coming across my previous wedding photography at their venue in Chippenham, Suffolk. Chippenham is one of those quintessentially English villages which has built up around the neighbouring big house and estate and retains a relaxed, rural feel despite being only a few miles from the bustle of Newmarket.

From the moment I met them, I knew the couples plans would be the perfect fit with my style. Family and friends figured highly and they we’re keen to avoid being kept from their guests for a prolonged portrait session or endless formal groups. Instead the emphasis was on spontaneity and a damned good evening party!

Photographing wedding like these is something I love - being able to merge into the background when required but also stop, chat and gain a reaction builds into a set of images that tell the story of a wedding day.
