Wendy & Tony contacted me talk about their Bournemouth wedding photography after I’d shot Wendy’s sisters wedding some years ago. It’s always a joy to see a few familiar faces and catch up at a wedding and an honour to be an ongoing part of a family's plans.

It was also my first visit to Bournemouth! Despite having lived in the south-east for the majority of my life, I had never been to this part of the south coast. With miles of sandy beach, views across to the Isles of Wight and Purbeck and swanky neighbouring Poole, its an area well worth a visit. I’ll certainly be heading down this way again to spend time.

Wendy & Tony hosted their wedding at the Royal Bath Hotel. The reception and evening party was held in the art-deco Kings Hall with its high curved ceiling. Whilst guest enjoyed the gardens and grounds, I took the couple for portraits on one of the sea view balconies before a dusk stroll along the path above east cliff.

A really wonderful day on the sunny south coast with lovely people - what more could you ask for!
